Our Veterans Competition every Thursday is becoming increasing popular regularly attracting 50 players or more. Someone has to be responsible for organising the cards and players into groups; those who ride in carts and those who choose to walk. Then there is the recording of cards for our unique vets handicap system once golf is finished. The Vets handicapping give all members a chance of finishing in the prize run down during the year, and maybe even several times.
These duties fall to our Vets Captain Terry Doyle and his ever present Vice Captain Bernie MacDonald. These two gentlemen are a small part of our team which contributes to a very enjoyable day of golf each and every Thursday.
Visitors are more than welcome so please contact the Golf Club for further details.
So a big thanks to Terry and Bernie for their continued contribution to the Coraki Vets Golf Club
